Dear supporters and prayer partners,
We are immensely grateful to the Lord for the wonderful time of furlough that we had this past year. It was a blessed time of fellowship with friends and family as we rehearsed all that God has done and how He opened the door of faith unto the precious souls in Joinville during our previous term on the field. We thank God for each one of you, our dear supporters and praying partners, for your faithfulness, striving together with us in your prayers to God for us.
On May 13, we said goodbye to our precious loved ones once again and boarded the plane in Atlanta, GA, headed back to Brazil, safely arriving at our home in Joinville about 14 hours later where we were met by friends and family that welcomed us back.
We are thankful to our dear missionary friends, the Köhler family, that lived in our house for the year and took very good care of everything for us. They also worked with Pastor Ricardo and the Victory Baptist Church during this time. They have been a big blessing to us all, and we pray for their ministry moving forward.
After a few days of getting settled back into things, we got right to work in the ministry of the church, taking on preaching and teaching responsibilities as well as the continuation of the construction project. It is so exciting to be back in the work here and see the Lord working in the precious church family that He has brought together, formed by believers from Brazil, Venezuela and Cuba. Our prayer is that souls will be saved and that the church will grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's word.
Please continue to pray with us that God will provide the remaining funds needed to install the accessibility ramp. We lack approximately $5,000.00 to reach the total goal for the purchase and installation of this important need. Thank you for your support and prayers.
